KTO Karatay University Faculty of Medicine offers an education program that provides theoretical and practical skills to its students. In our faculty, our students are equipped with theoretical courses, laboratory studies, and clinical experiences.

Our faculty educates physicians who are efficient, innovative, highly motivated, have a team spirit, and can conduct original scientific research by providing excellent and accurate guidance to our students. Our faculty owns the necessary means for modern medical education such as Patient Care Laboratory, Medical Skills Laboratory, Hygiene Training Laboratory, Anatomy Model Laboratory- Anatomy Dissection Laboratory, Histology-Pathology Laboratory, and Multidisciplinary Laboratory (Biochemistry-Biology-Physiology-Microbiology). In addition to clinical applications, our students conduct research ranging from COVID-19 to cancer research in our central laboratories and other state-of-the-art clinical laboratories and receive hands-on training with cadavers and real human bones at our university. In this respect, our faculty has far better physical and humanistic facilities than most comparable medical schools.

There is also an affiliation protocol between our university and Medikana Health Group (Medikana Sağlık Grubu), one of the leading organizations in the health sector in Türkiye. Our students will be able to gain experience in all areas of medicine at KTO Karatay University Faculty of Medicine Medicana Hospital, which is structured and medically designed according to the most recent technologies.

The following examinations are held for Term I, II, and III board courses; board exams during the academic year; final and make-up exams at the end of the academic term; one midterm exam in non-medical compulsory courses and elective courses; year-end and make-up exams at the end of the semester. Terms IV and V are allocated to clinical internships. Our students are trained in different clinics during these periods. These training periods are supported by theoretical and practical applications.

The sixth semester is the "internship" period before graduation. During this period, our students receive different responsibilities under the supervision of our academic staff and specialists and prepare themselves for becoming physicians.
