Banks Where Tuition Fees Can Be Paid: Halkbank - Albaraka Türk Katılım Bankası

Cash Payments:

Cash payments can be made at any branch of Halkbank or Albaraka Türk Katılım Bankası through Kurumsal Tahsilatlar (Corporate Collections). Halkbank customers can also make payments through internet banking by selecting Ödeme/Eğitim ödemeleri/KTO Karatay Üniversitesi (Payments/Education Payments/KTO Karatay University). In addition, transactions can be made from Halkbank ATMs.

Annual Programs

Students enrolled in annual programs (Law faculty, Medicine faculty, and Preparatory Program) must pay the full tuition fee. Students enrolled in semester-based programs must pay half of the tuition fee at the beginning of the fall semester and the other half at the beginning of the spring semester. A 6% discount is applied to students who pay the full tuition fee in cash at the beginning of the academic year. A 5% discount is applied to students who pay the full tuition fee in a single payment by credit card.

Cash payments: Cash payments can be made at any branch of Halkbank or Albaraka Türk Katılım Bankası through Kurumsal Tahsilatlar (Corporate Collections). Halk Bank customers can also make payments through internet banking by going to Ödeme/Eğitim ödemeleri/KTO Karatay Üniversitesi (Payment/Education Payments/KTO Karatay University). Halk Bank ATMs can also be used for transactions.

Installment payments: Installment payments can be made by credit card from one of the banks that KTO Karatay University has an agreement with. The following banks are eligible for installment payments: Maximum, World, Bonus, Ziraat Bankası Bankkart, Paraf. Installment payments can be made through the university's online POS system (https://sanalpos.karatay.edu.tr/).

Pilot Training Program

Glider training is optional in the Pilot Training Program. The theoretical and practical flight training fee for students who want to take glider training is €56,000, including VAT. The theoretical and practical flight training fee for students who do not want to take glider training is €53,000, including VAT. ÖSYM full scholarship students are exempt from the theoretical and practical flight training fee.

The theoretical and practical flight training fee is paid over four years, and the fee for each year can be divided into 10 installments. The preparatory class is optional.

The tuition fees of 56,000 Euros can be divided into equal installments over 4 years, with 14,000 Euros each year. These payments can be made in 10 installments at the beginning of each term.

Similarly, for the tuition fees of 53,000 Euros, they can be divided into equal installments over 4 years, with 13,250 Euros each year. These payments can also be made in 10 installments at the beginning of each term.

Important Note: To make a payment through the online POS system, your credit card must be enabled for internet banking.

Student Collection System payments are made through the university's “OTS” system (Öğrenci Tahsilat Sistemi), which allows students to pay their tuition fees in installments. OTS payments are made through any of the banks that KTO Karatay University has an agreement with. There is no interest or commission charged for OTS payments. However, OTS payments are made in monthly installments to the university's account, so no discount is applied.

For those who prefer to make payments through the OTS with a contracted bank, they can obtain the OTS Application Form from the Financial Affairs Directorate. They then apply to the bank with the required documents specified by the contracted bank. To be eligible for the education loan, the applicant's creditworthiness must be suitable and approved by the bank. The student completes the registration on the same day by submitting the approved education loan form from the bank to the Financial Affairs Directorate.

For Albaraka Türk Katılım Bankası and Yapı Kredi Bankası, as they conduct OTS transactions online, those who choose to use OTS do not need to obtain an OTS Application Form or submit the bank-approved education loan form to the Financial Affairs Directorate.

International Student Application Fee: 500 TRY

Transcript Application Fee: 20 TRY

Lost ID Card Application Fee: 50 TRY

At the end of the maximum duration of study, a fee is charged for each unsuccessful course in accordance with the tuition fee of the respective semester/year, with a value of 1 (one) ECTS per exam.

80% of the tuition fee paid by students registered in foundation higher education institutions will be transferred to the higher education institution where they are enrolled as special students.

The tuition fees paid by students enrolled in private higher education institutions will be transferred to the higher education institution where they are studying as a private student, at a rate of 80% by the private higher education institution where they are enrolled.
